Testing and Certification
- Fireguard was the first AST of its design to receive a UL Listing for secondary
containment.
- Steel Tank Institute's independent quality control inspectors further ensure
consistently high fabrication standards.
Efficient Shipping and Installation
- Shipping, installation and relocation costs, along with the headaches, are reduced.
Fireguard's unique thermal insulating material is 75% lighter weight than concrete.
- Average 12,000 gallon Fireguard weighs less than 40,000 pounds - well within the legal
trucking load limit.
Safety and Maintenance Features
- Unique lightweight thermal insulation helped Fireguard exceed the 2-hour fire test by an
additional 2 hours.
- Unlike concrete, cracking and spalling will never be a problem.
- UL listed 110% secondary containment standard in every Fireguard. Competitive tanks may
not.
Size and Design Options
- Significantly more size options than most competitive tanks. Capacities range from 186
to 50,0000 gallons.
- Cylindrical or rectangular designs.
- Compartmentalized configurations.
Warranty
- Fireguard 30 year warranty remains in force if the tanks is relocated by the same owner.
